A new Advance HE Member Benefit in partnership with CUC, UUK, GuildHE, Independent HE, and AHUA to support the UK HE governance community to engage with the challenges it faces through an open and collaborative dialogue that shares insights, experiences and practical support.

We know the future of HE governance is challenging. Existing pressure on financial sustainability and the necessity to transform related processes, policies and resources will be compounded by increased scrutiny from within the institution, regulators and sector stakeholders as well as wider society.

That is why Advance HE is launching ‘The Big Conversation: shaping the future of higher education governance’, in partnership with CUC, UUK, GuildHE, Independent HE, and AHUA. The project aims to facilitate a national level discussion about the future of HE governance in the UK, drawing on insight and perspectives from beyond HE and across the world

Advance HE will be running a series of free invite-only workshops with CUC from March to June for governing body members, executive teams and governance professionals from our member institutions. The workshops will facilitate the opportunity for you to take part in ‘The Big Conversation’ – a proactive debate and consultation on issues such as efficiency, data, decision-making and more.
